FORE!!!!

WARNING - The husband is writing a post again on behalf of his better half.

So let's set the stage here. Mommy and Haley are relaxing down in Port Charlotte, Florida this weekend as they visit Great Grandma. The last time I talked with them, they were going 18mph on their way to the local Cracker Barrel at 4:30pm for dinner before heading back to watch some riveting episodes of Matlock?!?!?

Anyways, we with the Y chromosomes decided to have our own relaxing weekend. And what is more relaxing than golf. Yes, me and my boys set out for a day of 54 glorious holes of miniature golf. OH YA!

Although I discovered I am not raising the next Tiger Woods (yet) or even a poor man's Shooter McGavin, they had an "awesome" time and are begging to go back tomorrow. Which just might have to happen. For who am I to squash the dreams of a 6 year old.

Here is a shot from one of the holes on top of the hill. I was just pleased no one tripped on the railroad ties as they raced the balls down the hill.

Don't mind the change of clothes, it is still within the same day. We just had to take a break at the Benes clubhouse for lunch and a new wardrobe.

Here is a photo of Jacob after his HOLE-IN-ONE on the longest hole of the course. He drained it like a little pro. (Albeit with a little help from the bricks on both sides and the end, but in putt putt it all counts the same)
Not to be outdone, Tyler drained his own HOLE-IN-ONE on a tough little water hole.

This next photo is about the moment that it became GAME ON! Jacob was being constantly reminded in a nice brotherly fashion by Tyler that he was not making his putts. It was amazing, something clicked in his head and he started taking the next strokes with a pro's precision. Check him out, he is trying to read the greens to drain his putt.

And of course we had to do some gross boy stuff while Mommy is gone.

And the weekend is only half over! :) Yee Haw!

Brian-

Great posts! I think you should be posting at least weekly.

I love the Matlock reference!

What fun!! The putt putt golf course doesn't look like a beginner course. Getting a hole-in-one on that course is awesome - - way to go boys!!

Brian - FYI....I do drive a little faster than 18mph and remember December isn't that far away........
AND there is no waiting for a table at 4:30!
